Jake Tripp, DVM
Veterinarian & Founder
Dr. Jake Tripp is the founder and owner of Taylorsville Animal Hospital. A second-generation veterinarian, he began his career at Bartow Animal Hospital alongside his father, who has practiced in Bartow County since 1979. Growing up watching his father build a career defined by genuine care and community trust, Dr. Tripp knew early on that veterinary medicine was his path.
He opened Taylorsville Animal Hospital in March 2026 with a simple goal: to build the kind of practice where he knows your pet's name before you reach the exam room. A father and dog owner himself, he understands firsthand what it means when an animal is part of the family.
Dr. Tripp believes medicine is never one-size-fits-all. Every patient at Taylorsville Animal Hospital gets a care plan built around their specific needs, and every client gets a vet who's in it for the long haul.
